BREAKING NEWS;ANOTHER CONTAINER LOAD OF PUMP ACTION RIFLES HAVE BEEN FOUND AT THE LAGOS PORT(PHOTO)

Months after an initial interception, another container filled with arms has been discovered at the Tin Can Island Port in Lagos, the Nigeria Customs has declared on Tuesday.

 A source at the port said the container was found at the Ports and Cargo Terminal of the Tin Can Island Ports.

 “As I speak to you, they’ve ordered everyone to go out of the terminal and they have locked up everywhere,” the source said.

 The spokesperson of the Nigeria Customs, Tin Can Island Command, Uche Ejesieme, confirmed the incident and said details would be made public later.

 “We are still counting,” Mr. Ejesieme told Premium Times over the phone.

 I want to believe this may be related to the forthcoming 2019 elections as we know most of our Nigerian politicians are criminals who winning elections is a do or die affair,God save us from this murderous dogs.

The Federal Government of Nigeria, Tuesday, threw its weight on the proscription of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and the categorisation of IPOB as a terrorist organisation by both the south-east governors and the Nigerian army, respectively, saying the activities of the group are similar to those of other terrorist groups. After weeks of intensive manhunt, the Lagos state police command has arrested one Ismaila Adeyemi, 49, the suspected mastermind and killer of Hector Jobateh (the 2007 winner of Gulder Ultimate search) who was traced and shot dead at his residence at New Oko-Oba in Agege, Lagos State. The suspect who was arrested at gas line Ominiyi in Ijoko area of Ogun state, confessed to the crime and other numerous crimes, while other members of his gang have been arrested. Thousands of people have fled their homes as violence continues to engulf the south-eastern city of Bangassou in the Central African Republic (CAR), the UN on said Monday. More than 3,000 people had fled within hours of violence erupting late Friday when members of the mainly-Christian anti-Balaka militia attacked civilians and a UN field office. UN peacekeepers exchanged fire with anti-Balaka Monday, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said. Dujarric did not comment on reports that militiamen had agreed to leave the city on condition that UN troops stop firing at them.
