BREAKING NEWS;ANOTHER CONTAINER LOAD OF PUMP ACTION RIFLES HAVE BEEN FOUND AT THE LAGOS PORT(PHOTO)

Months after an initial interception, another container filled with arms has been discovered at the Tin Can Island Port in Lagos, the Nigeria Customs has declared on Tuesday.

 A source at the port said the container was found at the Ports and Cargo Terminal of the Tin Can Island Ports.

 “As I speak to you, they’ve ordered everyone to go out of the terminal and they have locked up everywhere,” the source said.

 The spokesperson of the Nigeria Customs, Tin Can Island Command, Uche Ejesieme, confirmed the incident and said details would be made public later.

 “We are still counting,” Mr. Ejesieme told Premium Times over the phone.

 I want to believe this may be related to the forthcoming 2019 elections as we know most of our Nigerian politicians are criminals who winning elections is a do or die affair,God save us from this murderous dogs.

The extent of the fatality recorded during last Tuesday's ambush of oil exploration workers in the Lake Chad Basin by the terrorist group, Boko Haram, emerged Thursday as THISDAY sources said 48 bodies of the victims of the attack were deposited at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) mortuary. 1,268 NIGERIANS BACK HOME FROM LIBYA VOLUNTARILY

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA)  said 1,268 Nigerians had voluntarily returned from Libya from December 15, 2016 to May 16, 2017. Alhaji Mustapha Maihaja,  the Director General, NEMA, made the disclosure while receiving a fresh batch of 258 Nigerians who arrived on Tuesday in Lagos. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the returnees arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, aboard a chartered Libya Airlines Airbus A330-200 with registration number 5A-LAU at about 8:30pm. They were received at the Hajj Camp area of the airport by officers of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) , the National Agency for the Protection of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and the Police.
