CORVALLIS HOME KNIFE ATTACKER ARRESTED,POLICE SAY




CORVALLIS — Authorities say multiple people were injured when they were stabbed by a man who entered a home near Oregon State University.

Corvallis police Lt. Daniel Duncan says the man fled the residence Monday morning, but officers found him near the Benton County Senior Center. He was taken to the hospital after his arrest for reasons that have not been disclosed.

The man's name has not been released.

Oregon State University spokesman Steve Clark says a current student and a former student were among four people who suffered stab wounds. Police have yet to confirm the number of victims.
