NIGERIA CUSTOMS HANDS OVER 2 RANGE ROVER CARS STOLEN IN THE USA TO INTERPOL

The Nigeria Customs Service Tincan Island Port Command, on 1st June, 2017, handed over 2 suspected stolen Range Rover SUV to Interpol.

In his narrative while handing over the Range Rovers, the Controller Tincan Island Port, Comptroller Bashar Yusuf disclosed that the interception was sequel to intelligence report from Interpol.

He stated that the vehicles were imported from Washington D.C and declared as Toyota Tundra and Chevrolet Cruiz with some bicycles.

Generally speaking, he was emphatic that the interception will portray the country in good light considering the concerted effort of the service in ensuring that the exhibits were tracked. 

He reiterated the need for Nigerians to desist from acts capable of bringing the country to disrepute, particularly in this era of Information Technology where interception of this nature will be Internet based.

Jerusalem – The U.S. Army has inaugurated its first military base in Israel,which sends a message of readiness to Iran in the region, local media reported on Tuesday. The base's opening comes as Israel faces a slew of regional threats, especially from its Iran, Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said. The Israeli military said the new base is located inside an existing Israel Air Force base in the southern region. The American military base houses dozens of U.S. soldiers operating radar device alongside Israeli soldiers as U.S. radar has been operational on site for a decade, using American civilians to operate it.

Police officers The Ondo State Police Command says it had arrested three suspects in connection with the alleged kidnapping and killing of two female students of the Adeyemi College of Education in Ondo state. The Public Relations Officer of the command, Femi Joseph, revealed that one of the suspects was arrested on Friday after participating in a robbery operation in Ondo town, while the other accomplices were arrested on Saturday. Victims It was gathered that the two students, Oladepo Blessing and Oluwasemilore Mary, had earlier been declared missing, while their whereabouts was unknown. According to the PPRO, the suspects are John Adenikiri, also known as Emir; Fisayo Fasanu, aka Abore; and a herbalist, Alfa Abdurafiu. 2 GERMAN ARCHAEOLOGISTS KIDNAPPED IN KADUNA REGAIN FREEDOM 26TH FEB 2017, The two German archaeologists kidnapped recently in kaduna state have regained their freedom. Channels Television reports that Professor Peter Breunia and Johannes Behirnger, were released unhurt in the night of Saturday, February 25 by their abductors.
