NIGERIA CUSTOMS HANDS OVER 2 RANGE ROVER CARS STOLEN IN THE USA TO INTERPOL

The Nigeria Customs Service Tincan Island Port Command, on 1st June, 2017, handed over 2 suspected stolen Range Rover SUV to Interpol.

In his narrative while handing over the Range Rovers, the Controller Tincan Island Port, Comptroller Bashar Yusuf disclosed that the interception was sequel to intelligence report from Interpol.

He stated that the vehicles were imported from Washington D.C and declared as Toyota Tundra and Chevrolet Cruiz with some bicycles.

Generally speaking, he was emphatic that the interception will portray the country in good light considering the concerted effort of the service in ensuring that the exhibits were tracked. 

He reiterated the need for Nigerians to desist from acts capable of bringing the country to disrepute, particularly in this era of Information Technology where interception of this nature will be Internet based.

A middle-aged herdsman, Auwalu Idi, has been remanded in Katsina prison for allegedly stealing 22 cows and one sheep entrusted to his care. The animals were allegedly stolen during an armed robbery attack by some hoodlums at a grazing camp in Zamfara State. A man’s body has been discovered on the former BBC studios site in Manchester city centre. The body was found this morning at the building site on Oxford Road, which is currently being transformed into student flats. Greater Manchester Police have been called to the scene and the area has been taped off. Forensics officers have also been seen combing the area. Police are working to establish the circumstances behind the man’s death. The victim is believed to have been discovered by building site staff on Monday morning. It is thought he gained access to the building site over the weekend. SAPULPA, Okla. - Police say an elementary school teacher was arrested on multiple charges after accidentally leaving her Facebook page open on a school computer. Officers were called to Holmes Park Elementary School on Monday after a teacher found Megan Sloan's Facebook page open on a computer, according to KOKI-TV. Authorities say the page featured a conversation where Sloan reportedly asked about using and selling heroin. Detectives told KOKI that during the investigation, Sloan allegedly admitted to pawning two iPads that belonged to the school district. She also reportedly admitted to using money from field trips for gas and drugs.
