The police in Ghana have arrested about four people who allegedly murdered and lynched a soldier in Ghana after mistaking him for an armed robber. 

Four out of the five prime suspects have been arrested in connection with the lynching of a Captain of the Ghana Army have been sent to the Central Regional Police Headquarters in Cape Coast.

According to Adom News, the fifth suspect who sustained bullet wounds during a struggle with the lynched Captain Maxwell Mahama is also at the hospital. 


They were paraded before the media by the police at the Regional Headquarters of the Police in Cape Coast as part of the investigations

Nokia 3310 is coming back! 15 February 2017,  Nokia will re-launch its popular 3310 mobile phone, perhaps the best-loved and most resilient phone in history. It will be revealed at Mobile World Congress later this month, according to Evan Blass, who first revealed the details. The phone was originally released in 2000 and in many ways beginning the modern age of mobiles. According to Independent , it will be sold as a way of getting lots of battery life in a nearly indestructible body. The new incarnation of the old 3310 will be sold for just €59 (about N23 000), and so likely be pitched as a reliable second phone to people who fondly remember it the first time around.

The Edo Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aisosa Amadasun, and four others, have been brought before a Benin High Court, for allegedly committing contract fraud to the tune of N1.5bn, NAN reports. Late Joy Odama Autopsy has revealed that Joy Odama who was allegedly killed by an Alhaji in Abuja, died after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes. Joy Odama, a 200 level undergraduate Mass Communication student at Cross River State University, according to her mother was murdered by Usman Adamu. Contrary to the bereaved woman's allegation, the police reports that the result of the autopsy found carbon monoxide fumes in her body. This result is also contrary to that of another medical official, Dr Jibrin, who claimed that the girl died after taking cocaine.
