The police in Ghana have arrested about four people who allegedly murdered and lynched a soldier in Ghana after mistaking him for an armed robber. 

Four out of the five prime suspects have been arrested in connection with the lynching of a Captain of the Ghana Army have been sent to the Central Regional Police Headquarters in Cape Coast.

According to Adom News, the fifth suspect who sustained bullet wounds during a struggle with the lynched Captain Maxwell Mahama is also at the hospital. 


They were paraded before the media by the police at the Regional Headquarters of the Police in Cape Coast as part of the investigations

At least 36 bodies have been found at the Resorts World Manila entertainment complex that was stormed by a gunman, in what officials believe was a botched robbery. Most of the dead suffocated in the chaos as guests and staff tried to flee choking smoke at the complex after the attack began shortly after midnight. Police office chief Oscar Albayalde said they were in the casino's main gaming area. "What caused their deaths is the thick smoke," he said. Two Seattle police officers were shot Thursday while responding to a robbery at a 7-Eleven, according to the city's police department. The two officers, one male and one female, were brought to the Harborview Medical Center. The hospital tweeted that the male officer was upgraded to serious but stable condition, and that the female officer remained in satisfactory condition.
