FRESH TIME TABLE RELEASED BY INEC FOR SENATOR DINO'S RECALL

The Independent National Electroral Commision (INEC) yesterday issued a fresh timetable for the recall of the senator representing Kogi West senatorial district in the National Assembly, Senator Dino Melaye.

The process is now to start from October 3rd with the issuance of notice of recall and end on October 14 with the conduct of verification in all poling units in the Kogi West district.

INEC had earlier set date for the commencement of the recall process as requested by some electorate from Kogi West constituency but the Federal High Court in Abuja granted an injunction temporarily stopping the process.

In a statement signed by the Secretary of the commission, Mrs. Augusta C. Ogakwu , the commission said: "Further to the statement by the independent national electoral commission issued on September 12, 2017, the commission today issued an amended timetable and schedule activities pursuant to the petition for the recall of senator Dino Melaye.

In fixing the timeline for the verification, sufficient time has been provided for the senator to study the petition and accompanying materials to effectively prepare for the verification exercise in accordance with the order of the Federal High Court. Abuja."

Recollect that the so much loved senator (even very much loved by non constituents of his constituency) suddenly fell out with those who loved him after so much money had exchanged hands to ensure he is recalled and disgraced,all these allegedly believed to be sponsored by the Kogi state governor,Yahaya Bello.

It is no news that both men who were once friends and allies have locked horns in a bitter and unending feud which gave birth to this unbelievable recall.

Are Kogites so blind to see that the person that needs to go is their non functional Tyrant of a governor?Jeez!!!

          A 53-year-old Nigerian man who works at the United Nations was arrested in connection with a string of bank robberies in Manhattan, over the past month and a half, law enforcement sources tell News 4 New York. The NYPD’s Major Case Squad arrested Abdullahi Shuaibu, of Queens, on Monday, April 17th, at his office at the Foreign Press Centers across from the United Nations building. Police believe he robbed banks while on work breaks.          Law enforcement sources say Shuaibu robbed a HSBC bank at 40th Street and Third Avenue on Monday and then returned to work shortly before he was arrested.They say he’s wanted in at least three other bank robberies.          Shuaibu is listed as a communication specialist at the U.N.
