FORMER SHELTON MANAGER ACCUSED OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING EMPLOYEES

The former manager of a Shelton restaurant is accused of sexually harassing employees and touching them inappropriately.

Police started the investigation in March 2016 when three female employees of Dee's Kitchen at 509 Howe Ave. in Shelton went to police to report that 58-year-old Bryan Stockbridge, of Ansonia, was sexually harassing them and had touched them inappropriately on several occasions.

Detectives quickly obtained an arrest warrant, but they could not apprehend him, police said. They then obtained information that Stockbridge fled to California after an interview with detectives.

Shelton police obtained information today that Stockbridge was back in Connecticut, living in Ansonia, and they took him into custody.
Stockbridge has been charged with three counts of fourth-degree sexual assault.

He posted a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior Court tomorrow.

The State Security Service (SSS), on Saturday, announced the arrest of Husseini Maitangaran, a top commander of by Islamic State of West Africa (ISWA), otherwise known as Boko Haram. He was arrested in Kano on 31 August.  Maitangaran, according to a statement issued by the service, spearheaded several deadly attacks in Kano in 2012. Policemen from the Ipakodo division have arrested a suspected killer of a family of three in Ibeshe Titun, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State. It was learnt that the suspect, whose identity had yet to be ascertained, was arrested on Tuesday in the community. A resident, who asked not to be identified, said the suspect had been taken into custody and was being interrogated by the police. German national dies after slumping at Lagos airport A German national, Mr Brenard Christo, who slumped  on Friday  at the General Aviation Terminal of the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos, has died at an undisclosed hospital. The spokesman for the Lagos Airport Police Command, DSP Joseph Alabi, confirmed the death of the German to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)  on Saturday .
