TRAGIC,TRAIN - BUS COLLISION CLAIMS 19 LIVES IN MOSCOW

At least 19 people have been killed in a collision between a bus and a train near the city of Vladimir, east of Moscow, regional authorities said Friday.
“According to the latest information, 19 people have been killed,” the head of the regional health service, Alexandre Kiryukhin, told the TASS news agency. A statement from the regional interior ministry said all of the victims were on board the bus.

Emeka Ojukwu Jr., a legal practitioner and son of Igbo leader, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, has said that the only thing he holds against Nnamdi Kanu's agitation for the actualization of Biafra, is "their methodology". Three Nigerian scammers who befriended many of their victims on dating sites have been slammed huge prison sentences by a Mississippi court after making tens of millions of dollars from their schemes. ANOTHER 155 NIGERIANS RETURN FROM LIBYA

Two weeks after 171 Nigerians voluntarily returned home from Libya, 155 others followed suit on Thursday aboard a chartered Nouvel Air aircraft with registration number TS-1NB. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the aircraft landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at about 6.00 p.m. Like the initial group which returned on March 7 after being stranded in Libya while enroute Europe, the returnees were brought back by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and the Nigerian Embassy in Libya. The meeting of the Federal Executive Council that holds every Wednesday did not hold yesterday. Yesterday would have afforded President Muhammadu Buhari who returned to the country on Saturday the opportunity of presiding over the council meeting for the first time in over three months. The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, disclosed in a statement that the meeting would not hold. Adesina did not however disclose the reason behind the decision to cancel the meeting.
