2 DEAD BODIES DUMPED AT KOGI HOSPITAL GATE

Commotion among the residents in Okene,Kogi state after two dead bodies of young men were found dumped in front of Okene General Hospital on Sunday, February 12th.

According to a Facebook user, the men were robbers reportedly killed by soldiers.
He wrote; “They said they met them on the road carrying out operation and doing so pretending to be security operatives. As you can see on the image, one of them is wearing a military belt and also they are not ebira indigens but gallant soldiers actually clamped them down. Their corpses were brought to the Okene General Hospital, and the Doctor-in-charge rejected them, hence dumped by the gate.”

Masaba, dies at 93 leaving behind 86 wives and over 170 children     The controversial super-polygamist and Islamic preacher, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Bello Masaba is dead. He died yesterday afternoon after a brief illness in his Bida residence. Former minister of state for defence,Senator Musiliu Obanikoro had refunded a fresh sum of N30m to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,with a promise to return N417m. Punch quoted a source as saying that Obanikoro transferred the said sum from his Diamond Bank account to the EFCC Recovered Funds Account.
