TWITTER WAR ERUPTS BETWEEN PRESIDENT TRUMP AND MARK CUBAN

US President Donald Trump accused Mark Cuban of being a disgruntled former supporter.
NEW YORK:  A Twitter war spurred between US President Donald Trump and American businessman and television personality, Mark Cuban after the latter cautioned the chief executives in a newspaper article "not to cozy up to Trump", media reports said. According to a report on Sunday, Mr Cuban in Fort Worth Star-Telegram newspaper advised CEOs on how to act during the Trump administration. He cautioned them not to cozy up to Mr Trump, even though the immediate political payoff could be tempting.

"Do what you think is right. Be an American citizen first," Mr Cuban was quoted as saying.

However, these remarks did not apparently go well with Mr Trump as he tweeted, accusing Mr Cuban of being a disgruntled former supporter.

"I know Mark Cuban well. He backed me big-time but I wasn't interested in taking all of his calls. He's not smart enough to run for president!" he tweeted.
  
Mr Cuban responded by simply writing "LOL".
  Mr Cuban posted the receipts of his correspondence with Mr Trump during the campaign, when Mr Trump sent Mr Cuban a letter questioning why Cuban no longer supported him.
  Mr Cuban responded with a note of his own, and even dropped a hint that he may also campaign for presidency someday.

Mocking Mr Trump, Mr Cuban tweeted that it was better that the President was tweeting rather than governing.

"I don't know. But isn't it better for all of us that he is tweeting rather than trying to govern?" he tweeted.

Communal clash claims lives in Taraba Several people lost their lives and several houses torched in a renewed violence that broke out, yesterday, in Taraba State. Plane crash. FILE At least four people were killed on Saturday when a propeller-engine cargo plane crashed in the sea near the International Airport in Abidjan, a Reuters witness said. Six others were believed to have been injured in the crash of the Antonov aircraft which police said had 10 people on board. Gunmen Kill Vice Principal During School Hour The Vice Principal of a school in Akwa Ibom State has been tragically killed by unknown persons who stormed his school to wreck havoc.
