       Leadership newspaper repoter, Midat Joseph was arrested by security men attached to the Kaduna state governor,Nasir El-Rufai. He was allegedly arrested on the orders of the state Governor.Security operatives stormed the the home of Midat Joseph in the early hours of today arresting him over a recent report he wrote criticizing the state government.

        The tyrant of a governor should at least tell Nigerians what his offence is and if what he wrote was unlawful.Well as far as we concerned,Midat Joseph is a Nigerian,a free one at that with the right to freedom of speech,we appeal to the federal government to intervene and curb this notoriety of these governors such as that of Kaduna state and his twin brother in Kogi,Yahaya Bello who sent a team to abduct Austin Okai  Arrest of Austin Okai: Impunity Taken Too Far – Group | :: Latest ... from Abuja who we believe is been incarcerated somewhere in the state capital,Lokoja.

        Lest the governors and their colleagues forget,they are only making more enemies for themselves but come 2019,we shall remind them as all these media stunts they are creating is part of their campaigns in the making and we shall not stop.

THE LATE BELOVED SENATOR ISIAKA ADELEKE Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, rescued an aide to Osun State Governor, Ms Idiat Babalola, from mob attack at the premises of the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, on Monday. According to the Senior Special Assistant (Media) to Amosun, Mr. Adejuwon Soyinka, the crowd of sympathisers demanded that Babalola be made to leave the premises of the Ede,Osun State country home of the Adelekes. The meeting of the Federal Executive Council that holds every Wednesday did not hold yesterday. Yesterday would have afforded President Muhammadu Buhari who returned to the country on Saturday the opportunity of presiding over the council meeting for the first time in over three months. The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, disclosed in a statement that the meeting would not hold. Adesina did not however disclose the reason behind the decision to cancel the meeting. Late Joy Odama Autopsy has revealed that Joy Odama who was allegedly killed by an Alhaji in Abuja, died after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes. Joy Odama, a 200 level undergraduate Mass Communication student at Cross River State University, according to her mother was murdered by Usman Adamu. Contrary to the bereaved woman's allegation, the police reports that the result of the autopsy found carbon monoxide fumes in her body. This result is also contrary to that of another medical official, Dr Jibrin, who claimed that the girl died after taking cocaine. Former President, Mr Goodluck Jonathan has confirmed the theft of his property from his house in Abuja. He confirmed the incident in a statement by his spokesperson, Ikechukwu Eze, following some media reports that the home was stripped bare and some of the items stolen were being sold in markets. "The house, which the former President bought from CITEC estate developers in 2004, was totally stripped bare by the thieves who stole every movable item in the house including furniture sets, beds, electronics, toilet and electrical fittings, as well as all internal doors and frames."
