       Leadership newspaper repoter, Midat Joseph was arrested by security men attached to the Kaduna state governor,Nasir El-Rufai. He was allegedly arrested on the orders of the state Governor.Security operatives stormed the the home of Midat Joseph in the early hours of today arresting him over a recent report he wrote criticizing the state government.

        The tyrant of a governor should at least tell Nigerians what his offence is and if what he wrote was unlawful.Well as far as we concerned,Midat Joseph is a Nigerian,a free one at that with the right to freedom of speech,we appeal to the federal government to intervene and curb this notoriety of these governors such as that of Kaduna state and his twin brother in Kogi,Yahaya Bello who sent a team to abduct Austin Okai  Arrest of Austin Okai: Impunity Taken Too Far – Group | :: Latest ... from Abuja who we believe is been incarcerated somewhere in the state capital,Lokoja.

        Lest the governors and their colleagues forget,they are only making more enemies for themselves but come 2019,we shall remind them as all these media stunts they are creating is part of their campaigns in the making and we shall not stop.

 RELEASE THEM NOW OR CHARGE THEM TO COURT, MARC PIUS ONUCHE AYEGBA.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Bayelsa Photo: Twitter The Rivers state government has condemned the escape, from police custody, of Ifeanyi Dike, a suspected rapist and killer of Victory Chikanso, an eight-year-old girl. The Rivers state deputy governor, Dr Ipalibo Banigo, in a statement on Wednesday in Port Harcourt, asked the Police and other law enforcement agen­cies to ensure that the suspect is re-arrested and brought to justice without delay. She stressed that the report that the suspect es­caped from the hands of the Investigating Police Officer (IPO) is "totally unaccept­able and very embarrass­ing." Abductors demand N100m ransom for DPO kidnapped in Delta MARCH 8TH 2017, Abductors of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of C Division Police  Station in Asaba, Delta State, Mr. Valentine Mbalu, have opened negotiation with his family members and are demanding N100 million ransom to secure the cop’s release. Mbalu was reportedly kidnapped by six heavily armed gunmen, who ambushed him while in Agbor town for an official assignment on Monday.
