American screen “goddess”, Julia Roberts, 49, was named “World’s Most Beautiful Woman” for a record-setting fifth time by the People’s Magazine, U.S., on Wednesday.

 Jess Cagle, the People’s Editorial Director, announced the magazine’s decision on “Good Morning America” Show, ABC Television.

 He said the magazine’s annual “Most Beautiful” issue would hit newsstands nationwide on Friday.Cagle applauded the “Pretty Woman” actress for her healthy living, adding that “many fans watched Roberts grow into the woman she is today.

 “She is been famous a very, very long time, and she’s very, very popular.“She’s also a person who just keeps getting better as she matures.”

 The director added that “she is better looking now than she ever has been.

 “She looks great, but she also just gets better in life and has carved out this really simple, perfect private life away for herself and the spotlight.“That’s difficult to do when you’re Julia Roberts.”

 This is the fifth time the stunning “Pretty Woman” actress is being given the coveted title after clinching for the first time in 1991.Julia is ahead of her BFF George Clooney in the Most Beautiful department, as he’s only been “Sexiest Man Alive’ twice.

Embattled Nigerian artiste, Dammy krane, appeared in court today for his bail hearing in the 9-count fraud charges leveled against him in the U.S. He was in court with Chukwuebuka, his accomplice. Chukwuebuka, who is claiming to be Dammy krane's show promoter, filed paperwork saying that he is indigent. According to our source, the court looked at his papers and it was found that he has no money or property in any bank. He was thereby kept in jail till 22nd of June, 2017. The federal government has approved the closure of five foreign missions and embassies, minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama said. Onyeama told newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, May 25, 2017. The minister, who did not mention the embassies or missions, said the process for closure was underway and was also subject to the approval of the president. "We do not want to indicate the embassies that will be closed yet because we are in the process of submitting the proposals, the cost analysis and also the political analysis we did to the president. "When he sees that, he may or may not want to close some, so we have not yet reached the stage of closing some," he said.
