I just wonder why things we heard happened during the slave age or colonial era keeping popping up in action in this 21st century,what a shame.
 A shocking video has shown a Reverend father flogging his church members in an African church.
The bizarre ritual it is believed was to cleanse members of sin. The white man of God is seen holding a stick (which is said to be holy) and whacks the members who lined up to receive the flogging. Watch the video below:

According to several media reports, Miss Olivia Uchechi Ihionu lost her life at Adoration Ministry Uke on 15 August 2017. The deceased was the first daughter of her parents. She got engaged last Christmas and wass preparing to be married this Christmas. According to an eyewitness, she went to urinate in a nearby gutter after arriving the prayer ground and suddenly went missing. Due to heavy rainfall that day, she apparently drowned. It was later discovered that she fell into gutter, her lifeless body was found in the neighbouring village the following day.

A fire incident which happened on Saturday evening at Makoko and Satellite Town areas of Lagos State, has left a seven-day-old baby dead, and copies of West African Senior School Certificate Examination results badly burnt. It was gathered that the baby was burnt to death in Makoko, in the fire incident that occurred due to a resident's carelessness, after she left what she was cooking on a stove unattended to. A firefighter said;  “We gathered that a woman was cooking food; she left the place and forgot it. “The fire started from there and razed a lot of makeshift structures to the ground. “In the confusion that greeted the incident, the parents of the child left him inside the house. MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Authorities are investigating an early morning homicide just off of Stateline Road. Initial reports indicated the 20-year-old victim was inside a car at the Ashland Lakes Apartments around 3 a.m. when he was shot. Two individuals rushed him to the Olive Branch Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The driver and passenger were detained for questioning by Olive Branch. Danish police say the size of a headless female torso found on the sea's edge in Copenhagen suggests it could be that of a Swedish journalist who died after taking a submarine ride with the vessel's Danish inventor. Police said divers were still searching the area and they were investigating reports of other body parts that may have been spotted in Copenhagen harbour. Danish inventor Peter Madsen has been charged with killing Kim Wall , a Swedish journalist, in his home-made submarine. "We're dealing with a torso where arms, legs and head were cut off deliberately," Copenhagen police spokesman Jens Moller said in a video statement. POLICE ARREST 8 PERSONS OVER MUSHIN GANG CLASH IN LAGOS

Eight persons alleged to be involved in a gang clash that led to the destruction of property in Idi-Oro, Mushin – Lagos have been arrested,the Lagos Police Command says. The command Spokesman, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed the arrest to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday. Famous-Cole said that the Commissioner of Police, Mr Fatai Owoseni, had also deployed more police personnel to ensure peace in the area. He said the suspects, who were arrested in Idi Oro had machetes and axes in their possession “Normalcy has returned to the area and there is heavy police presence there. “The public should go about their business. There is a free- flow of traffic in the area now,” Famous-Cole said. The police had to deploy men of the Rapid Response Squad to bring the situation under control.
