White House confirms telephone conversation with Buhari

President Donald Trump of the United States of America, Tuesday confirmed his telephone conversation with President Muhammadu Buhari.

               The White House Press Secretary and Communications Director, Sean Michael Spicer in his introduction of Tuesday’s White House Press Briefing, mentioned that President Trump spoke with President Buhari of Nigeria and Jacob Zuma of South Africa as well as receiving the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau on Monday.
              Recall that President Buhari, Monday afternoon from the United Kingdom spoke to American President Donald Trump on telephone at the request of the latter.
According to President Buhari’s spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, the conversation was cordial and President Buhari congratulated Trump on his election as president of the United States and on his cabinet.
           He said both leaders discussed ways to improve cooperation in the fight against terrorism through provision of necessary equipment.He said Trump also commended Buhari for the efforts made in rescuing 24 of the Chibok Girls and the efforts of the Nigerian military.

          Recall that human rights group, International Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law (Intersociety), had advised Nigerians not to believe the reported conversation until the US confirms it,well?

MAN WHO KIDNAPPED OWN GF AND RECEIVED N200K RANSOM ARRESTED ALONGSIDE OTHERS

Benue State Police Command has busted two kidnap syndicate of 8 including a Gang of 4 allegedly led by a woman believed to be an associate of the wanted militant leader, Terwase Agwaza, aka Gana, who a week ago abducted a businessman. The police operation also led to the arrest of three women whose responsibilities were to provide food for the victims, who was rescued alive. The businessman was kidnapped alongside his son, who was later released to source N20 million as ransom for his father.  The state's Police Commissioner, Bashir Makama, said: "During investigations, we discovered that the lady, who was arrested had the responsibility of pencilling down those to be kidnapped and those to be killed by the gang. They are all associates of Gana, the wanted militant leader. Also arrested, after reliable information, is one Victor Ayanngor, who conspired with Ordue Abraham, Kelvin Dankor and Emmanuel Terver to kidnap his girlfriend and collect N200,000 ransom."

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has backed out of his planned talks with the South-East Governors Forum » . The IPOB leader had met with the governors at the Enugu State Government House on August 30, 2017 said his decision was informed by the prevailing situation in the South East. "Accordingly, we will not engage in any meeting with anybody until the atmosphere is conducive and peaceful enough to allow for such, " he said. Armed Robber Burnt To Death In Calabar By Mob After Juju Failed February 16, 2017 A dead man was found lying by the side of the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital, Murtala Mohammed Highway, closed to RCC roundabout, Calabar after he was burnt to death by an angry mob. Many of the farmers and their families had contracted it and many died. The doctor came upon this one farmer and to his surprise, everyone was very healthy. When the doctor asked what the farmer was doing that was different the wife replied that she had placed an unpeeled onion in a dish in the rooms of the home,(probably only two rooms back then). The doctor couldn't believe it and asked if he could have one of the onions and placed it under the microscope. She gave him one and when he did this,he did find the flu virus in the onion.
