   According to Facebook user identified as Ifere Paul, a suspected thief was burnt alive by an angry mob in Cross Rivers state.
Below is how he told the story;
“Breaking News: The photos are disturbing! Viewers Discretion is required.
“A Car Battery thief was caught and terribly burnt this morning at Yellow Duke.A resident who reported the incident this morning said the young man had gone out to steal batteries from parked cars.“However, it has not been confirmed if the young man was caught red handed.

“This incident will now raise the killing by jungle justice to about 9 in the month of February alone. How a once peaceful State is gradually becoming a hot bed for criminal activities has kept citizens and residents in Calabar at awe. It is more worrying that residents do not have confidence in the police force again.

“It is sad.We must not burn criminals.Let us trust in the police force. Let us also use the whistle-blowing arrangement of the State government to report criminals and their activities.”

Unknown Gunmen Kill University Student, Watchman In Jigawa. 17th Feb 2017, A 27-year-old university student, Muhammad Garzali, was killed by unidentified assailants at Kafinhausa town of Kafinhausa Local Government Area of Jigawa. Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Abdu Jinjiri, an ASP, said that Garzali was murdered alongside a 60-year-old watchman, Ali Dan-Katsina, at a motor park in the area. Jinjiri said that the former was a student at the Sule Lamido University, Kafinhausa, while the latter served as a night watchman at the park. Niger police arrest 194 suspects,recover 48 weapons February 13, 2017 The Niger State Police Command said it arrested 194 suspects and recovered over 48 dangerous weapons from criminals in parts of the state. SAPULPA, Okla. - Police say an elementary school teacher was arrested on multiple charges after accidentally leaving her Facebook page open on a school computer. Officers were called to Holmes Park Elementary School on Monday after a teacher found Megan Sloan's Facebook page open on a computer, according to KOKI-TV. Authorities say the page featured a conversation where Sloan reportedly asked about using and selling heroin. Detectives told KOKI that during the investigation, Sloan allegedly admitted to pawning two iPads that belonged to the school district. She also reportedly admitted to using money from field trips for gas and drugs. 72-year-old Actor John Heard, who played the role of Peter McCallister in hit 90s movies Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, was reportedly found dead in his hotel room. This is really shocking. A teenage girl from Imo State identified as Chidinma Iheoma was caught by security operatives with human head. According to the security men, the head which was detached from the deceased body – was found with the girl who carried it in a bag before she was apprehended. When quizzed by security operatives in a video footage posted online, she initially claimed she was on her way to bury the head but later disclosed that her friend was the person who cut the head and that she has killed two people so far.
