A staff of College of Education (COE), Katsina-Ala, Godwin Yanbee Bosua, has been found dead few hours after his abduction last Saturday.

It was gathered that the victim, a former bursar with the College of Education, Katsina-Ala had gone to his private nursery and primary school, close to the college but was abducted on his way by unknown gunmen,Daily Post reports.

His lifeless body was found Sunday morning in an orchard belonging to the nursery and primary school.

A close confidant of the deceased family told Sun that there were bruises on Bosua’s body, indicating that he must have been severely beaten by his assailants.

The incident is coming barely three days after some gunmen shot and killed one Ugoh Terseer Akagbue, an assistant registrar with the College of Education, Katsina-Ala, Benue State in his residence.

Reacting to the ugly development, a group known as ‘Peace Initiative,’ has sent an SOS to the Inspector General of Police to wade into the matter and save the people.

In a statement signed by its President, Mr. Jonah, the group expressed worries over the continuous threats to members of the college community, adding that the situation had made many of them to run away.

Contacted, Benue state’s Police PRO, Moses Yamu said the command was not aware of the development at the moment.

Meanwhile, the remains of the victim had been deposited at the morgue of the General Hospital Katsina-Ala‎.
