Security Operatives Arrest Foreign Terrorists Working With Boko Haram In Gombe State

Yesterday afternoon, Nigerian Army troops in conjunction with elements of Department of State Services (DSS) after painstaking effort of tracking arrested 3 suspected Chadian Boko Haram terrorists that belonged to Albaranawi faction, in Gombe, Gombe State.
The 3 Chadian terrorists suspects, Bilal Muhammed Umar, Bashir Muhammed and Muhammed Maigari Abubakar were arrested at Arawa and Mallam Inna Areas of Gombe metropolis. They were reported to be members of Albarnawi faction of the Boko Haram that operates in Chad and mostly northern part of Borno State but came to Gombe State for another heinous assignment.
During the operation, one of them, Bilal Muhammed Umar attempted to escape and was shot on the leg. He was however apprehended and is receiving medical treatment.

The terrorists were also arrested with Improvised Explosive Device (IED), materials that they could have coupled and attack parts of the State.
The suspects are in custody undergoing preliminary investigation.

*Police were called to Piccadilly bus station after a suitcase was found on the 192 bus and a man reportedly ran from the scene A suitcase has been left on a bus at Piccadilly bus station sparking a security alert. Police were called to Portland Street after the suitcase was found on the 192 bus at 11.35am. Greater Manchester Police officers are on their way to the scene to investigate. It's understood a man got onto the Stagecoach bus and dropped the suitcase in the middle aisle. He then reportedly ran off the bus service, which was travelling from the city centre to Stockport. An attempt by a mother of two children to smuggle a phone to her boyfriend in prison custody has been foiled by the officials of the Nigerian Prisons Service (NPS) in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The 33-year-old woman, Fatima Balogun who has been arrested by men of the Special Intelligence Unit of the NPS, carried out the action on Wednesday at the gate lodge of Abeokuta maximum Prisons in Ibara. The suspect confessed that she hid the phone which she bought for her boyfriend identified as Ganiyu Ajibode, in the cooler of soup from the Prisons officials.   Civil rights activist the Rev. Jesse Jackson said Friday that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. A neurological disorder with no cure, Parkinson's can cause tremors, stiffness and difficulty balancing, walking and coordinating movement.   "My family and I began to notice changes about three years ago," Jackson wrote in a statement. "After a battery of tests, my physicians identified the issue as Parkinson's disease, a disease that bested my father." Two Fulani herdsmen, Umar and Musa Ali, who are brothers, have been arrested by men of the Nasarawa State Police Command for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl at Tudun Lambaga in the Eggon Hills area, Eggon Local Government Area of the state. The victim, simply identified as Esther, was reportedly ambushed and assaulted by the suspects at a secluded part of the road.
