Singer Muma Gee has filed for divorce from husband, Nollywood actor Prince Eke.
The pair’s marriage hit the rocks last month after the actor took to social media to announce that his marriage was over.
In a fresh Instagram post on Saturday, the actor shared a picture of himself, his mother and his three children.
“If infidelity, adultery and certain fetish activities does NOT make you RESTLESS ..then prepare to REST IN PEACE,” said the post’s caption.
Don Saint, publicist of the singer, said she interpreted the caption to be a death threat and had made an official report to the Nigerian police.
Saint said his client had repeatedly suffered domestic violence and battery from her estranged husband.
He said one of such incidents “led to their break up on the night of the 5th of November 2016, before he packed out of their house into a hotel next street to their home in Port Harcourt, and with all sorts of false allegations to assassinate her character.”
Muma Gee had in a recent interview with Hip TV said she devoted the last six years to her marriage.
She had said, “I got married and became a full time house wife for 6 years. I gave the marriage all my life, all my time, but if the persons involved are restless a bit, you can’t be in control.”
Prince Eke and Muma Gee have three children from their 6-year union.

*Police were called to Piccadilly bus station after a suitcase was found on the 192 bus and a man reportedly ran from the scene A suitcase has been left on a bus at Piccadilly bus station sparking a security alert. Police were called to Portland Street after the suitcase was found on the 192 bus at 11.35am. Greater Manchester Police officers are on their way to the scene to investigate. An attempt by a mother of two children to smuggle a phone to her boyfriend in prison custody has been foiled by the officials of the Nigerian Prisons Service (NPS) in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The 33-year-old woman, Fatima Balogun who has been arrested by men of the Special Intelligence Unit of the NPS, carried out the action on Wednesday at the gate lodge of Abeokuta maximum Prisons in Ibara.   Civil rights activist the Rev. Jesse Jackson said Friday that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. A neurological disorder with no cure, Parkinson's can cause tremors, stiffness and difficulty balancing, walking and coordinating movement.   "My family and I began to notice changes about three years ago," Jackson wrote in a statement. "After a battery of tests, my physicians identified the issue as Parkinson's disease, a disease that bested my father." Two Fulani herdsmen, Umar and Musa Ali, who are brothers, have been arrested by men of the Nasarawa State Police Command for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl at Tudun Lambaga in the Eggon Hills area, Eggon Local Government Area of the state. The victim, simply identified as Esther, was reportedly ambushed and assaulted by the suspects at a secluded part of the road.
