Singer Muma Gee has filed for divorce from husband, Nollywood actor Prince Eke.
The pair’s marriage hit the rocks last month after the actor took to social media to announce that his marriage was over.
In a fresh Instagram post on Saturday, the actor shared a picture of himself, his mother and his three children.
“If infidelity, adultery and certain fetish activities does NOT make you RESTLESS ..then prepare to REST IN PEACE,” said the post’s caption.
Don Saint, publicist of the singer, said she interpreted the caption to be a death threat and had made an official report to the Nigerian police.
Saint said his client had repeatedly suffered domestic violence and battery from her estranged husband.
He said one of such incidents “led to their break up on the night of the 5th of November 2016, before he packed out of their house into a hotel next street to their home in Port Harcourt, and with all sorts of false allegations to assassinate her character.”
Muma Gee had in a recent interview with Hip TV said she devoted the last six years to her marriage.
She had said, “I got married and became a full time house wife for 6 years. I gave the marriage all my life, all my time, but if the persons involved are restless a bit, you can’t be in control.”
Prince Eke and Muma Gee have three children from their 6-year union.

POLICE INTERCEPT TWO VEHICLES CARRYING ARMS

The Zamfara State Police Command on Wednesday intercepted two vehicles carrying arms in different parts of the state. The spokesman of the command, Muhammad Shehu, confirmed the development in Gusau. He told the News Agency of Nigeria that items recovered from the vehicles were three AK47 riffles, an automatic pistol, locally-made pistol, magazines and live ammunitions. According to him, other items recovered include N103, 435 cash, ATM card, three voters’ cards, military camouflage and a stamp of the Cattle Traders Association of Nigeria in the Bukuru Local Government Area of Plateau. A bloody clash between the army and police in Nigeria's restive northeastern Yobe state on Wednesday left one soldier and three police dead, a security source told AFP.  The police confirmed the fracas in the state capital of Damaturu, but did not say if there were casualties.  "The Nigeria police force is abreast of the unfortunate incident that occurred in the early hours of today 12th April, 2017 in Damaturu between the personnel of the force and that of the Nigerian army," police spokesman Jimoh Moshood said in a statement.  He said an investigation had been launched to determine "the causes of the incident and deal with the situation appropriately to prevent such occurrence in the future".  The army authorities were not immediately available for comment. DETECTIVES of Delta State Police Command investigating the September 5 ambush of bank officials and policemen on the Benin-Asaba Expressway by bandits, who carted away N25 million from a bullion van, have apprehended and detained an Inspector and three other policemen, said to be on illegal escort duty. Police Public Relations Officer of Delta Command, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, who confirmed the arrest and detention of the policemen to Vanguard in Asaba, said Police have released two officials of the bank earlier arrested, while investigations were ongoing.
