A 27-year-old Uncle, identified as Ibrahim, in Ijebu Igbo area of Ogun state forcefully raped a 11-month old baby (name withheld) which is currently fighting for her life.
According to reports, the mother of the little child had dropped her off with the Ibrahim who lives next door in a bid to get some food stuffs in the nearby market.

While the baby’s mother was away, Ibrahim used his fingers to tamper with the child’s s3xual organs while she was in a deep slumber before trying to penetrate with his manhood.

“It was at this point that we shouted and that attracted the attention of other neighbours”, and eye witness said.
The pervert uncle has been arrested is currently helping the police with investigations.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) on Tuesday paraded a 17-year-old Boko Haram suspect, who admitted killing 18 people since he joined the group three years ago.  The suspect, Ali Mustafa, said he was forced to join the deadly group when Boko Haram terrorists attacked his village in Monguno and left with many boys. The suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), David Babachir Lawal, on Tuesday appeared before the Yemi Osinbajo-led panel, where he answered questions over the alleged violations of due process in the award of contracts under the Presidential Initiative on the North East (PINE). Lawal arrived the Presidential Villa around 1pm and was ushered before the Vice President. He left at 3.35pm. The panel had on Monday grilled the suspended Director-General of the National Inteligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Ayo Oke. Deadly bomb blast hits church in Egypt At least 21 people have been killed and dozens wounded in a bomb attack on a church north of Cairo. Islamist extremists have targeted Christian members of the Coptic Church in the past. The explosion went off inside a Coptic Christian church in the city of Tanta north of Cairo as worshippers were celebrating Palm Sunday. Egyptian state media reported 21 people had been killed and a further 38 wounded.   Footage from CBC TV from inside the Mar Girgis (St George's) Coptic Church showed dead bodies covered with papers. Coptic Christians make up about 10 percent of Egypt's population and are regularly the target of Islamist extremists.
