Edo Women Affairs Ministry begins investigation on Alleged NYSC Member who bragged about having Sexual Relations with a Student

A young man who is believed to be currently doing his NYSC in Edo State has sparked some outrage on social media tonight after he posted, and deleted, some implicating posts about himself on social media.

In one post he bragged about having sexual relations with one of his students because “she wants” it and in another post, he shared a video of how he spent February 14 drinking alcohol with his teenage male students.

The video caused quite the reaction and he deleted both posts off his page.

Instagram users are now calling for his arrest and for the appropriate authorities to look into the situation.

National coordinator of Walk Against Rape Nigeria, Esther Ijewere has said that the Edo State Ministry of Women Affairs has begun investigation on the story of a man, who is said to be a Corps member in the state,allegedly having  sexual relations with one of his female students.

The man, in one post, bragged about having sexual relations with one of his students because “she wants” it and in another post, shared a video of how he spent February 14 drinking alcohol with his teenage male students.

Esther wrote on Facebook:

Big up to the Ministry of Women Affairs in Edo State. They have taken up the case of the pedophile who posted his illicit affair with an underage girl on Instagram….

The Director for Child department assured me they will follow it up to a conclusive end and that gladdens my heart….

Heavily armed policemen on Tuesday in Dutse, Jigawa State capital, fired teargas canisters at a crowd that gathered at the Chief Magistrate Court Two for the arraignment of former governor Sule Lamido, who is being tried for making inciting remarks. Counsel for the Jigawa State Government, Ikenna Ekpunobi, insisted that Lamido should not be granted bail until investigation was completed. A middle aged man has been arrested in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital for being in possession of human parts. Tribune Online gathered that the suspect had been under surveillance of residents of Ita Kudimo, Abata Suban, Pakata area of Ilorin West local government in the past few days after speculation grew that he possessed a corpse in his building. It was also gathered that the neighbours of the suspect swooped on his residence at about noon on Sunday and the suspect was allegedly caught with human parts. He was later dragged to Adewole Police station in the Ilorin metropolis amidst shouting and rain of curses by the crowd of people. BREAKING NEWS;GUNMEN ABDUCT SCHOOL PRINCIPALS AND STUDENT

Gunmen suspected to be militants on Thursday morning invaded Lagos State Model College, Igbo Nla, Epe, Lagos, abducting the principals and some students. The kidnappers were said to have stormed the school in the early hours when the students were at the morning assembly. The gunmen abducted the principal of the junior secondary school, Mr. Oyesola and Mr. Akirinmade who is the Principal of the senior secondary school. They also abducted some of the students. Presenting the case to the House of Representatives, the member representing Epe Constituency, Wale Raji, appealed to the House to call on the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State to treat the case with utmost urgency. Sule Lamido, the former governor of Jigawa state, has attributed his arrest and perceived persecution to his desire to run for president in 2019. This was disclosed by his chief press secretary, Umar Kyari, in a chat with The Vanguard on Monday.
