Gospel singer bashed for exposing her undies to dignitaries at Gachagua's burial

- Regina Muthoga's performance at the late Nderitu Gachagua has become controversial as it elicits mixed reactions
- Most people accused her of being an embarrassment as she exposed her body while performing at the funeral service
- She dressed indecently for the dance styles she had in mind, and her performance was apparently wrong for this particular occasion
The entire country watched and mourned with the family of the late Nyeri governor Nderitu Gachagua on Monday, March 6, in Nyeri county.
The late Gachagua was the first governor to die while in office and so, his funeral set a precedent for how others would be sent should their time come- later, we pray.
Choir after choir performed for the guests who included President Uhuru, DP Ruto, Raila Odinga and former president Mwai Kibaki and a host of politicians across the board.
The singer said the late governor loved her song and had wanted her to perform at his requiem, and perform she did.
She took on an entirely new spirit, outdid Rose Muhando with her weave dance and leg throwing as she smiled throughout her performance as if she was on Tusker Project Fame.
Most felt her performance was overboard as she thoroughly enjoyed herself in a place where people were mourning their loved one.
What’s even worse is that people hated her for her leg throwing as she apparently showed her undies. Yes, her skirt was long but it was A-line fish tail and it was the wrong outfit for the moves she had in mind.
Apparently, at some point, the camera zoomed in on some of the guests looking down as Muthoga continues throwing her legs and assets all over the place in front of the late Gachagua’s casket.
Kenyans flooded to social media to express mixed reactions about Muthoga’s “tasteless” performance, telling her off for her ‘indecent’ dressing and vigorous dancing.
