FEDERAL HIGH COURT DISMISSES SENATOR DINO"S LAWSUIT,ASKS INEC TO CONTINUE HIS RECALL

Seems like the plot by Senator Dino Melaye"s political enemies(amongst whom is the non performing governor of Kogi state,Yahaya Bello) is gaining ground as a Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday dismissed the suit by Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, challenging the validity of the process of recalling him by his constituents.
Justice Nnamdi Dimgba, in his judgment, ordered that the Independent National Electoral Commission “shall proceed with the recall process”.

The judgment effectively terminated the earlier ex parte order made by another judge of the Federal High Court in Abuja, Justice John Tsoho, on July 6, 2017, directing parties to maintain status quo.
But the Justice Dimgba, to whom the case was reassigned, ordered that the process shall only proceed with the recall process, subject to the service of the petition, the full list and signatures of persons in support of the recall process.

The Imo State Police Command has declared a suspected armed robber, Ekene Amadi, wanted for allegedly shooting a police Inspector, Oliver Nwaba. According to a statement issued by police spokesperson in the state, Andrew Enwerem, the officer was shot during an attack by Amadi's gang on policemen at Nipping Point at Nkaraha Junction, along Owerri-Port Harcourt Road. Enwerem said the 26-year-old Amadi, who is on the run, had earlier been apprehended by the police on May 22, 2017, arraigned in court and remanded in Owerri prison. The suspect was, however, said to have been released by the court, after which he allegedly went back to his criminal activities, terrorising Nkaraha Junction and Ohaji in the Ohaji /Egbema Local Government Area of the state. Masaba, dies at 93 leaving behind 86 wives and over 170 children     The controversial super-polygamist and Islamic preacher, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Bello Masaba is dead. He died yesterday afternoon after a brief illness in his Bida residence.
