FEDERAL HIGH COURT DISMISSES SENATOR DINO"S LAWSUIT,ASKS INEC TO CONTINUE HIS RECALL

Seems like the plot by Senator Dino Melaye"s political enemies(amongst whom is the non performing governor of Kogi state,Yahaya Bello) is gaining ground as a Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday dismissed the suit by Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, challenging the validity of the process of recalling him by his constituents.
Justice Nnamdi Dimgba, in his judgment, ordered that the Independent National Electoral Commission “shall proceed with the recall process”.

The judgment effectively terminated the earlier ex parte order made by another judge of the Federal High Court in Abuja, Justice John Tsoho, on July 6, 2017, directing parties to maintain status quo.
But the Justice Dimgba, to whom the case was reassigned, ordered that the process shall only proceed with the recall process, subject to the service of the petition, the full list and signatures of persons in support of the recall process.

FORMER SHELTON MANAGER ACCUSED OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING EMPLOYEES

The former manager of a Shelton restaurant is accused of sexually harassing employees and touching them inappropriately. Police started the investigation in March 2016 when three female employees of Dee's Kitchen at 509 Howe Ave. in Shelton went to police to report that 58-year-old Bryan Stockbridge, of Ansonia, was sexually harassing them and had touched them inappropriately on several occasions. Detectives quickly obtained an arrest warrant, but they could not apprehend him, police said. They then obtained information that Stockbridge fled to California after an interview with detectives. Shelton police obtained information today that Stockbridge was back in Connecticut, living in Ansonia, and they took him into custody. Stockbridge has been charged with three counts of fourth-degree sexual assault. He posted a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior Court tomorrow.

Suspected Boko Haram Members Kill 10-Year-Old Boy February 16, 2017 Policemen attached to the Inspector- General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris’ Special Intelligence Response Team (IRT), have arrested suspected Boko Haram members, who abducted a 10-year-old boy in Maiduguri, Borno State and later stabbed him to death. The victim, Baa Goni Maina, was abducted on January 14 by 18-year-old Adam Bakura and his brother, Modu Bakura. He was killed three days later after his father couldn’t cough up the N10 million ransom the brothers demanded. It was learnt that although Maina’s father was comfortable, he was not rich enough to have N10 million. The suspect and deceased lived in the same community. A nurse has become the first in a wheelchair to work on the frontline of the NHS.Michelle Quested, 33, lost the use of her legs in a car accident seven years ago.
