The 7 year olds mother says this photo was taken after police put the boy in handcuffs. The mother of a 7-year-old child is demanding answers after her son was allegedly handcuffed at school and taken to a mental health facility in Texas. “My son is a special-needs child, and he requires those special needs,” the boy’s mother, April Obis, told WBRC Fox 6 News. According to Obis, her son has attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which can result in disruptive behavior. A trained counselor at Gabe P. Allen Charter School in Dallas is typically available to help her son cope when an issue arises. That counselor, Obis said, was not available on May 9, when her son was removed from class after he allegedly banged his head against a wall. Former President, Mr Goodluck Jonathan has confirmed the theft of his property from his house in Abuja. He confirmed the incident in a statement by his spokesperson, Ikechukwu Eze, following some media reports that the home was stripped bare and some of the items stolen were being sold in markets. "The house, which the former President bought from CITEC estate developers in 2004, was totally stripped bare by the thieves who stole every movable item in the house including furniture sets, beds, electronics, toilet and electrical fittings, as well as all internal doors and frames." The Police has arrested a suspected gang Leader in Ogun State for impersonation and the murder of a middle aged motorboy after an altercation in Abeokuta, the state capital. Parading the suspect alongside other suspects at the state command of the Police, the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said the suspect was a leader of a robbery gang allegedly terrorizing residents in many parts of the capital.  According to Mr Iliyasu, the suspect had brought an unregistered Sienna vehicle to one Alaja car wash, Leme Abeokuta and later on, got involved in an argument with a motorboy who was identified as Rasaq. Ibru siblings in property, paternity battle Feb 20th 2017, Five months after the death of frontline businessman Chief Olorogun Michael Ibru, 16 of his children are in a legal tussle over their paternity and his multi-billion naira assets. One of his sons, Oboden Ibru, has approached the Igbosere High Court, Lagos, for a declaration, among others, that he and his 15 other siblings are entitled to the estate of their father. In a counter-claim, one of the late Chief Ibru's daughters, Janet Ibru, urged the court to declare that only persons whose paternity are confirmed by a diagnostics centre in the United States are entitled to an equal share of the estate.
