SENATOR ALLEGES POLICE CHIEF IMPREGNATED AND LATER MARRIED FEMALE OFFICER

The ongoing war of words between the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, and Sen. Isah Hamman Misau, may be far from over, as the lawmaker, on the floor of the Senate today, alleged that the Police chief has impregnated now marry a female police officer, which he said, is against the rule of the Police Service (PSC).

Senator Misau said the lady in question had since been promoted, despite her lack of qualification for the new rank.

The senator, who is currently briefing his colleagues, said the corruption in the Force, under Ibrahim Idris, should not  over looked if the integrity of the Force must be restored.

The Rivers state deputy governor, Dr Ipalibo Banigo, in a statement on Wednesday in Port Harcourt, asked the Police and other law enforcement agen­cies to ensure that the suspect is re-arrested and brought to justice without delay. Abductors demand N100m ransom for DPO kidnapped in Delta MARCH 8TH 2017, Abductors of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of C Division Police  Station in Asaba, Delta State, Mr. Valentine Mbalu, have opened negotiation with his family members and are demanding N100 million ransom to secure the cop’s release.
