The Federal High Court in Abuja has refused Olisah Metuh’s application to compel former National Security Adviser retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki to testify in his case.
BREAKING: Court bars Dasuki from appearing at Metuh’s trial
Court says Metuh cannot have Dasuki testify at his trial or travel to the UK for medical treatment.
Premium Times reports that the court also turned down Metuh’s request to allow him go abroad for medical treatment.
According to Premium Times, the presiding judge Okon Abang said Metuh's application lacked merit because Dasuki was not a “compellable witness.”

MAN IN CUSTODY FOR ASSAULT ON PREGNANT WOMAN February 22, 2017; An Osun Magistrate Court sitting in Ile-Ife has docked one Dayo Adebayo, 29, for alleged assault on a pregnant woman.   The prosecutor, Sunday Osanyintuyi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 13, around 11:45 pm at Ehindi Street, Ile-Ife.Osanyintuyi, said Adebayo assaulted the woman named Blessing Monday, by hitting her with his fist across her face, causing various injuries.He added that the offence was contrary to and punishable under section 356 of the Criminal Code (Cap 34 Vol 11), Laws of Osun, 2002. The randy corps members are among the many young graduates that were recently sworn in for the Batch A Stream 1 for the compulsory one year national service. According to multiple online reports, the incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday, May 30, 2017 when some camp soldiers on parade walked in on the duo in the middle of a heated sexcapade. The man blamed the devil for pushing him into the act while the woman who is reportedly married blamed the cold weather of the state for pushing her into the act. The woman whose identity was not immediately disclosed, stated that she finds it difficult to stay away from sex for too long. By the standards of the NYSC body, the erring corps members have been dismissed from the orientation camp.
