Seven Fulani gunmen have been nabbed at Azagba Ogwashi were arrested on Wednesday, February 22, at about 5am by Men of the Anioma Security Watch Network Vigilante group.

The vigilante members stopped a trailer conveying the Fulani gunmen,load of cows and their luggage at Azagba Junction.The suspected Fulani gunmen were interrogated and the following weapons were found in their possession:

According to the Chairman of the Vigilante,the Fulani gunmen said they came all the way from Taraba State to Isselegu in Ndokwa East Local Government, Delta state.

Thee Divisional Police Officer, Ogwashi-uku, Mr Shuaibu was alerted.He sent his men to the scene of the incident. He equally called the Chief security officer, the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South LG, Hon (Chief) Isaac Ozo Anwuzia who applauded them and appreciated their effort and he also assured them of his usual support.

Southern Kaduna: IGP deploys Police Special Forces February 23, 2017 The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim K. Idris, has ordered the deployment of Police Special Forces to put an end to the renewed wave of clashes in some communities in Southern Kaduna. The Special Forces have a mandate to ensure that they flush out perpetrators of the violence wherever they are and restore peace in the area within the shortest possible time. Tragedy as Mechanic in Lagos Kills Sales Boy in Broad Daylight 10/02/2017 The police in Lagos State have launched a manhunt for a mechanic, Fatai Bashiru, for allegedly killing a sales boy, Shedrach Emenike, aka Chiboy, in the Papa Ajao, Mushin area of the state. Punch Metro learnt that Bashiru stabbed the 23-year-old in the armpit and other parts of his body for allegedly scratching a car belonging to his customer. The victim was rushed to a general hospital where he was confirmed dead. It was learnt that the suspect fled after learning of Emenike’s death and his whereabouts had yet to be known. Two Seattle police officers were shot Thursday while responding to a robbery at a 7-Eleven, according to the city's police department. The two officers, one male and one female, were brought to the Harborview Medical Center. The hospital tweeted that the male officer was upgraded to serious but stable condition, and that the female officer remained in satisfactory condition.
